Sept & Oct News from Kenya

Hello from Kenya! Tom and Laura Garrett are currently in Kenya at Open Arms Village. We were told to say hello from a lot of children who have StoneWater sponsors. HELLO TO ALL AND THANK YOU FOR SPONSORING THESE CHILDREN. Some of you sent letters with us to your children and all were thrilled as they read and re-read your letters to us and to each other! We currently have 64 children at Open Arms (about 20 more than what we had when we first came one year ago) and wanted to share a few pictures of our newest 4: Leon, Lucy, Ethan and Asha. All four are precious babies under 2 years old.. Asha was born premature and came to us at 4 weeks old only weighing 4 pounds. She is lovingly being cared for by Rachel Gulden and Laura (Rachel is Mama Asha; Laura is Grandma Asha!!). Leon and Lucy's mothers both lived on the street. Leon came to us dehydrated, sick and severely malnourished. Notice the difference in all their pictures (to the right) from the first day at Open Arms to less than a week later. They are truly being loved by Jesus through the staff of Open Arms.
