More News from the June Kenya Team

Yesterday was probably one of the hardest things we've ever done. The jiggers were gross but watching those poor babies (literally) suffer, to let us dig them out was horrible. We had to work on a two year old boy for two hours! It was heartbreaking! They just need a pair of shoes and semi-regular fumigation. It's not complicated. We provided food, socks, shoes, and blankets for those we saw but there are so many more. It was striking to see the difference between the kids in the slums and the kids in the village, many who came from there. This is truly a remarkable place, doing amazing things for kids.
